Strucit exports your plan as a client-ready A4 PDF: a cover, the bill of materials, your notes, the floor plan, the camera map and a Wi-Fi coverage sheet per band, with the numbers behind the coverage estimate.
What’s in it
The PDF only includes the sections your project needs, in this order:
- Cover page with the project name and export date.
- Materials report: cables with their lengths, devices, switches, cameras and Wi-Fi equipment, across as many pages as it takes.
- Wi-Fi reference tables, when there are access points:
- expected signal by band, distance and power level in open space;
- signal loss per wall material and band;
- the share of this plan covered per band at low, regular and high power.
- Project notes, when the plan has notes.
- Floor plan sheet, with a title block and a scale.
- Camera map, when the plan has cameras.
- One Wi-Fi coverage sheet per band, with a legend, when the plan has access points.
Sheets take the orientation that fits your floor plan, and a vector scale is added unless the plan already has one.
Why the numbers matter
A heatmap on its own asks the client to trust the colors. The PDF shows what the colors are based on: what signal to expect at what distance, what each wall material costs, and how coverage changes if the access points run at lower or higher power. It’s the same model you planned with in the Wi-Fi heatmap.
How to export
- Finish the plan: equipment, cables, notes.
- Open Export and choose PDF.
- Strucit builds the document in the background and downloads it.
Free and Pro
The plain-text equipment and cabling report is free and always a click away. The PDF export is Pro, like SVG and JSON export.
What it doesn’t do
- No custom branding or cover logo yet: the cover and header use Strucit’s layout.
- A4 only.
- The PDF isn’t editable; change the plan and export again.
